Pollution
Nothing is
ugly than seeing tones of rubbish piles and exhaust fumes sent up into the
atmosphere. Pollution is an environmental problem which arises from man's
unwise abuse of his natural surroundings and resources such as air and water:*
It's a big problem that needs all efforts to put an end to . On one hand, man
has foolishly damaged his environment when poisoned , the atmosphere and
polluted the earth and water. Polluted air may damage man's lungs and cause
death. Also, Adding poisonous gases such as Carbon dioxide to the atmosphere
may cause increased temperatures consequently the ice at the Arctic
and Antarctic is melted. So, environmental conferences are yearly held all over
the world to discuss pollution problems, show its dangers and offer solutions.
In the end, man has to reach a balanced relation i^ in his everyday
dealings with the environment.

No one can deny that
"Pollution" is so serious and dangerous. It can turn our life upside
down and make it unbearable. First of all, I want to mention some kinds such as
air pollution; the most dangerous, noise pollution,…etc. It has a lot of bad effects and
disadvantages, which we can't count, on the individuals and the whole society,
so we must do our best to put an end to it very soon. In my opinion, it has
spread widely, so we should put our hands with the government to try to find
immediate and urgent solutions before its disastrous effects and results
aggravate.
Moreover, we must take into consideration
that it's one of the worst problems ever faced and may easily lead to other
grave problems. Let's now ask ourselves how this bad phenomenon has come to
take its place and imposed itself in front of us. To answer this question, we
must know that there are a lot of causes of this problem which are well-known
to those in charge. The most dangerous is "Modern Inventions" with
all their harmful consequences. Also the industrial countries add much to the
ratio of pollution by emitting large quantities of carbon dioxide into the
atmosphere. I think it doesn't help any person or society to make any progress
or advance. To sum up, pollution can't help us live happily or peacefully in our
society.

Swine flu / pigs flu
The
swine flu pandemic is a global outbreak of a new type of influenza " , it is termed Pandemic H1N1/09 virus by the World Health Organization . The
outbreak was first observed in Mexico,
with evidence that there had been an ongoing epidemic
for months before it was officially recognized
Like other influenza viruses, swine flu is typically contracted by inhaling
air that has been contaminated by an infected person coughing or sneezing, or
by touching one's nose or mouth with hands that have previously touched
contaminated surfaces and have not been disinfected. Symptoms,
which last up to a week, are similar to those of seasonal flu,
and can include fever,
sneezing, sore throat, cough, headache, and muscle
or joint pains.
To avoid spreading the infection, it is
recommended that those with symptoms stay home from school, work, and
crowded settings; wearing facial masks was not recommended except in health care
settings.
