Officer Bassem was sitting at his desk
in the police station when a taxi driver came and said, “Sir, a foreigner has
just left this briefcase in my taxi. He went to the airport and I found it on
the back seat as soon as I reached downtown. Here you’re “.
Officer Bassem took some information
about the taxi driver whose name was Nader kamal . Officer Bassem opened the
briefcase and found that it belonged to an Englishman called Stewart Jeoffery
who was on a personal visit to Egypt.
Mr. Jeoffery was on his way to his country . He left his briefcase on the back
seat and got off the taxi . Officer Bassem discovered that the tourist’s flight
was going to start after an hour . So, he telephoned the passport office at the
airport to help Mr. Stewart get his briefcase and it did .
Officer Bassem thanked the honest driver
for his honesty and told him that Mr. Stewart was a very rich man and he left
him an invitation with a free ticket to visit him and his family in England. Nader
was happy and started learning English to be able to communicate with people there.
